Hoot as Radio personality Brad Edwards, spent his boyhood in both Oregon and California, and is now back home, living in Santa Barbara County, writing under his given name, Claude “Hoot” Hooten. As a boy, all the young Hooten wanted, was to be on the radio.
Radio and the world of broadcasting was his escape from reality, as well as a career and his chance to “be somebody," his career took him back and forth across the United States with a harrowing and even hilarious side trip, working for the Republic of Iran.
Drunk & Disorderly, Again, “My name is Hoot, I’m an alcoholic,” reveals how he beat his demons and went on to fame and fortune. The book is a roadmap to sobriety and a shortcut to a better life.
